Dielectric Papers
INDUMA dielectric papers are manufactured using only high-quality cellulose, without the use of adhesives, fillers, dyes, or resins, ensuring high chemical purity and consequently low electrical conductivity.
The sheets are formed on an intermittent paper machine by laminating several elementary layers. Afterwards, the sheets are pressed in a hydraulic press, dried, and subsequently calendered to achieve a smooth finish.
All papers in the dielectric line are light brown, the natural color of cellulose.
Application
Used in the manufacturing of components for oil-filled transformers for distribution, power, and industrial applications, such as spacers, strips, cylinders, flanges, collars, barriers, insulators, and more.
Free of Contaminants
We guarantee contaminant-free paper by using the following equipment/processes:
- Centrifugal separators: ensure the removal of heavy contaminants (sand or metal particles).
- Pressurized purification: promotes the removal of light contaminants (residues from the cellulose manufacturing process).
- Magnetic particle filter: captures possible magnetic particles from the cellulose pulp.
